Mazaki Fastener manufactures and sells special tapping screws made from iron and stainless steel. It handles both standard products and OEM items, providing comprehensive support from design and development through to prototyping and mass production.
With the construction industry as its primary client base, its core products comprise small screws, tapping screws, and specialised screws for interior and exterior applications. Operating under the motto ‘Good products, quickly and affordably!’, the company has expanded its operations. Its client portfolio has now broadened, supplying products to the joinery, automotive, and electrical appliance sectors.
Mazaki Fastener's strengths lie in its advanced technical capabilities, honed over many years, and its production system designed for efficiency. By maximising both these pillars, it has delivered high-quality screw products rapidly and cost-effectively. Its flexible design capabilities tailored to specific applications, backed by in-house developed products, enable it to meet a wide range of customer needs, from standardised items to OEM products.
In 2022, a second factory was newly established in Higashiōsaka City, adjacent to Ōhashi City where the head office and first factory are located. This expansion of production space and equipment promotes further efficiency improvements, such as reducing changeover processes.
Furthermore, by rigorously implementing regular sampling inspections conducted by operators, the company has established a system that simultaneously ensures stable quality and supply while reducing costs. Underpinning this foundation are its employees. Veterans with over 25 years of service pass on skills that cannot be mechanised to younger staff. Conversely, the younger generation contribute new ideas and proposals for technological introductions. By fusing cultivated skills with fresh thinking, the company aims for further development.
Mazaki Fastener possesses strong product development capabilities, handling over 300 types of products. It can develop specialised screws tailored to customer needs, contributing to solving customer challenges.
In 2024, the company introduced new header machines (forging) and rolling machines (rolling). This enables processing of screw sections with diameters of 8–10 mm and lengths up to 150 mm, achieving in-house production for target items and integrated management of QC processes. This leads to shorter delivery times and cost reductions, establishing a flexible, highly efficient production system that better aligns with customer needs.
Manzaki Fastener introduced two image sorting machines in 2024, establishing an in-house system capable of completing product appearance inspections. This initiative aims to enhance quality control precision and prevent defective products from leaving the premises, while also promoting in-house production to reduce outsourcing costs.
This capital investment is expected to establish a stable quality supply system, thereby strengthening trust with existing customers and opening new sales channels. The introduction of new equipment is laying the groundwork for business expansion.
