Towaron specializes in wire coating technology. It has full confidence in its coated wire product which uses an adhesive to perfectly affix coating material to the core wire. The company has earned a high level of confidence, with its products being used in public projects run by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and by local governments around Japan.

The company's IR-coated wire, in which core wire is affixed strongly to a special polyethylene, uses environmentally friendly materials. It emits no endocrine disruptors, and has excellent durability, shock resistance, weather resistance, abrasion resistance and cold resistance properties. In mountainous areas, the wire is used to protect against rock falls, and in rivers and coastal areas, it is used for strengthening the bank or shore. At the 2002 World Cup, its environmental aspects received acclaim, being used for fencing at all stadiums.
