About the Excellent Company of OSAKA SMEs in Manufacturing Award
The Excellent Company of OSAKA SMEs in Manufacturing Award is implemented with the aim of promoting, both domestically and internationally, the concentration of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises and the high level of technological expertise that represent the strengths of Osaka Prefecture’s industry. The award selects and honors small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises based in Osaka Prefecture that demonstrate advanced technological capabilities and excellence in QCD (quality, cost, and delivery), are expected to be highly regarded in the marketplace, and are recognized as contributing to the revitalization of Osaka’s industry and the local community.
Companies selected under this program are awarded the title of Takumi Companies. They are requested to undertake initiatives to expand their own sales channels and, to the extent possible, cooperate with promotional initiatives for the manufacturing sector in Osaka Prefecture led by the Prefectural Government.
